• I just became a member or renewed my membership. When I register, it still shows me as a non-member.
  Please wait at least 24 hours after updating your membership before registering to ensure you receive the proper registration rate.

• When can I register for the 2026 World Congress on Pain?
  Registration is scheduled to open on 15 January, 2026.

• How do I cancel my registration?
  Registration cancellations received by the deadline will receive a complete refund, less a processing fee.

• Can I make a change to my registration?
  All registrants can modify their registration using their confirmation number.

• What is included in the cost of my registration?
  Access to all plenary sessions, topical workshops, social events, and the mobile conference app. Full Congress registrants also receive access to session recordings.

• Can I register on-site?
  On-site registration is available, but advance registration is strongly encouraged. Early Bird discounts are typically offered for those who register before the deadline.

Questions About Housing

• How do I book in the IASP hotel block?
  The official hotel block will be available when registration opens in January 2026.

• I received an email from GTE Reservations about booking. Is this legitimate?
  No, please be aware of housing pirates and other common scams. Other companies that are not expressly affiliated with IASP are likely fraudulent.

• Where can I find information on available support opportunities?

• What are the Exhibit Hall hours?
  All times are preliminary and subject to change:

  • Setup: 25–26 October 2026 (must be completed by 15:00, 26 October)

  • Welcome Reception: 26 October, 17:00–19:00

  • Exhibition Open: 27–29 October, 09:00–17:00 daily

  • Dismantle: 29 October, 17:00–20:00

• When can exhibitors set up and break down their booths?
  Setup: 25-26 October 2026; Breakdown: 29 October 2026

• How do I order furniture and services?

• When will the exhibitor manual be ready?

• How do I register booth staff?
  Login to ExpoGenie using the credentials from your welcome email. Use the “register booth staff” section.

• How do I send in my logo?
  Upload through your task list in ExpoGenie. File must be under 150MB.

• Is there a discounted rate for nonprofits?

• When can I submit my Poster Abstract?
  Poster Abstract Submissions will be accepted through the online portal from 1 December 2025 to 15 February 2026.

• Will there be a late-breaking Poster Abstract Submission period?
  Yes, Late-breaking Poster Abstract Submissions will open on 15 March 2026.

• When will I receive a decision about my poster abstract?
  On or about 15 April 2026.

• How do I make changes to my poster?
  Email congress@iasp-pain.org

• When will poster specs be available?
  By mid-May 2026; emailed to all presenting authors.

• When will I be notified of my presentation date and time?
  In late May or early June 2026.

Questions About Financial Aid

• When can I apply for financial aid?
  Applications will open on 1 December 2025.

• When will I receive a decision?
  By April 2026.
