Press and Media Participation
Attendees are welcome to share their personal experiences from the IASP 2026 World Congress on Pain on social media. However, the unauthorized use, reproduction, or commercial redistribution of content is strictly prohibited.
IASP welcomes participation from members of the news media, publishers, and other organizations that communicate scientific and clinical information about pain. To support different types of media participation, IASP maintains separate policies and application processes for:
Editorial Press Accreditation – for journalists and editorial staff producing independent news coverage. Eligible individuals may apply for complimentary passes. The policy clarifies eligibility, verification, access rights, usage conditions, embargoes, and revocation/appeal procedures. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on Friday, 18 September 2026. No applications will be accepted for consideration after the deadline.
Commercial Media – for qualified organizations seeking Congress access to produce or distribute commercial editorial content, sponsored communications, professional education, industry publishing, or other commercial healthcare communications. Organizations should contact media@iasp-pain.org to request information about the IASP 2026 World Congress on Pain Commercial Media Access & Distribution Program. The Program offers defined access, licensing, digital distribution, and promotional visibility benefits through paid participation packages.
Editorial press representatives must agree to the Editorial Press Accreditation Policy and abide by all applicable Congress Event Policies. Commercial media participants must enter into and comply with the Commercial Media Access & Distribution Program Agreement and all Congress policies incorporated into that Agreement.

All cancellations are to be sent in writing to IASP at congress@iasp-pain.org. Cancellations received before 30 September 2026 will be refunded less $100 for administrative costs. Starting 1 October 2026, no refunds will be granted.
