Poster Abstract Submission Overview
The International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) invites members and non-members to submit poster abstracts for presentation at the 2026 World Congress on Pain, 26–30 October in Bangkok, Thailand. Presenting authors will share their peer-reviewed research with more than 5,000 multidisciplinary, in-person attendees from over 130 countries. Poster presentations may be cited as formal conference contributions on the author’s CV.
IASP encourages and promotes participation, accessibility, active representation, and leadership from diverse populations regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, economic status, disability, age, and religion. IASP promotes an environment that is supportive of all diverse groups in the interest of advancing science.
Submission Deadline: 15 February

Poster Abstract Submission Requirements
Abstracts can only be submitted for poster presentations.
Abstracts must be submitted via the online submission site only. Abstracts submitted by email or fax will not be accepted.
Abstracts must be received by 15 February. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
All presenting authors should plan to register and attend the 2026 World Congress on Pain.
Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance of the abstract to be listed in the official meeting publications.
No changes will be made to the submitted and accepted abstract.
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
IASP cannot accommodate requests to schedule posters on specific days.
Poster abstracts should describe original scientific material that has not been previously published or presented at other national or international meetings. While encore presentations are allowed, IASP prefers posters to include new data that has not been previously presented, including previous IASP World Congresses. The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
