Display Hours

Posters will be displayed Tuesday, 27 October through Thursday, 29 October from 09:00 to 18:00. Each poster will be displayed for one full day to allow Congress delegates sufficient time for viewing. There will be two dedicated poster discussion periods each day:

  • 09:30 – 11:00 for even‑numbered posters

  • 15:15 – 16:45 for odd‑numbered posters

IASP requires that authors be present during the date and time assigned.

Poster presenters will be allowed into the Exhibition Hall/Poster Area at 08:00 the day of their assigned poster session to arrange the poster on the poster board. After picking up your badge on site, be sure to also pick up a Poster Presenter sticker from the designated Poster Pick‑Up area at the Registration Desk; this will allow you to access the poster hall before it opens for the day so you can set up. Authors must remove their posters by 18:00. Please note that the exhibition hall closes at 18:00, and you may not enter after that time.

No conflicting sessions are scheduled during the poster discussion period. The poster presenter and/or a co‑author must be present at their poster for the entire assigned poster discussion period.

Posters should be self‑explanatory so that presenters are free to supplement and discuss specific points that viewers raise. The poster must cover the same material as reported in the abstract. The poster session offers an intimate forum for informal discussions, but this becomes difficult if you are obliged to devote most of your time to merely explaining your poster to a succession of visitors. You may find it useful to have printed copies of your poster on hand, a tablet of sketch paper, and suitable drawing materials. Projection equipment, video monitors, and electrical outlets will not be provided in the poster session area.

Poster Specifications

Printed Poster Size (please design/print your poster to):

  • Portrait orientation

  • Not to exceed 95 cm wide × 238 cm tall

Poster Board Size (structure that posters will affix to): 100 cm × 250 cm walls

Materials should be mounted on thin poster paper or lightweight cardboard. Do not use heavy cardboard, which may be difficult to keep in position on the poster board. You may want to group logically consistent sections or columns of the poster on backgrounds of the same color. Posters will be affixed with tape, which will be provided on site.

Please note that if you are planning to bring a cloth poster, please come with proper hanging materials – due to the high humidity levels in Thailand, tape provided on site will not be sufficient to support cloth and/or heavier poster materials.

Lettering

Lettering should be at least one inch (2.54 cm) high. Arrange materials in columns rather than rows – it is easier for viewers to scan a poster by moving systematically along it rather than by jumping back and forth. You should place an introduction at the upper left and a conclusion at the lower right, both in large typescript. Posters must also include your Conflict of Interest (COI) statement.

Illustrations

Keep in mind that illustrations will be viewed from a distance. You should indicate the sequence of illustrations with numbers or letters at least one inch (2.54 cm) high, preferably in bold lettering. Each figure or table should have a heading of one or two lines in large type stating its essential message. Provide detailed information in a legend in smaller type below, describing the content of the figures as well as the conclusions. Keep details of methodology brief and place them at the end of the legend. Charts, drawings and illustrations may be like those used in slides, only simpler (without unnecessary details) and more heavily drawn. Please depict everything as clearly as possible.

On‑Site Poster Printing Service

At the 2026 World Congress on Pain, IASP is offering on‑site poster printing services, where poster presenters may submit their poster to be printed at the venue and may pick up their poster at a designated poster‑pick up area near the registration desk at the venue.

To order poster printing services, please use this order form to indicate the desired poster size, quantity, and prepare your graphic artwork in EPS or AI format (minimum 300 DPI and 20 mm bleed) – be sure to include a JPG or PDF for reference. Payment is required via telegraphic transfer to a Singapore bank, and the service will only be processed once payment is received. All posters will be available for collection at the venue’s official contractor counter (Hall 102 Entrance). Please note that late orders incur a 50% surcharge after the deadline and a 100% surcharge for orders placed on site. An invoice will be issued upon confirmation of your order.

Please submit your poster for printing by emailing a completed order form to chia@ingenuity.com.sg before 25 September 2026.

To better assist you in choosing the correct sizing for poster orders, please refer to the graphic below comparing poster sizes to the size of the poster boards at the venue. Numbers on the top of each poster correspond to the size number (No.) on the order form.
