243: The Use By Ozone And A Parasympathomimetic Drug In Liposome On Shoulder After Trauma Or Surgery.
Topic: Clinical Science
Subtopic: Pain category (ICD-11), Chronic posttraumatic pain, Pharmacological treatments, Non-pharmacological treatments
Background and Aims: Verify the pain relief by applying a parasympathomimetic drug in liposomes cream on the shoulder's skin and Ozone's injections in a group of patients suffering from painful shoulder, after trauma or surgery.
Methods: From 2023 to 2026, 158 patients were studied by us, on double blind method, of whitch 65 females and 93 males.
Average age was 42 years, and they had painful shoulder, after trauma or surgery.
We applied a parasympathomimetic drug in liposomes ,at a dose of 15 mg in 150 ml of cream, for 20 sessions, for 3 days at week, after injection of 10 ml of Ozone, for treatment.
We used the VAS ( visual analogue scale) for the intensiy of pain and 5 levels of the semantic scale for study the functional impotence, at time T0' ,T20', T60'.
Results: The 86 % of the total of 158 patients, 65 females and 93 males, obteined a good pain control and a restoration of functional activity in their shoulder hited by a trauma o after surgery.
( See poster's graphic).
Conclusions: The application "supra cutem" of a para-sympathomimetic drug in liposomes cream, and Ozone injections has proven effective in 86% of cases of patients , with good pain control and restoretion of functional activity.

(...This electron microscopic study verified the existence of post-ganglionic sympathetic fibers within Pacinian corpuscles, previously reported by use of the fluorescence histochemical technique of Falck and Hillarp, for the cellular localisation of the biogenic amines.
